DiversiTech Quick-Tap Line Piercing Valve 1/4", 5/16" & 3/8" QT-1 (Red)

The DiversiTech QT-1 Quick-Tap Line Piercing Valve provides a convenient service connection for 1/4", 5/16" and 3/8" OD refrigeration tubing.

The valve incorporates a core within its 1/4" male access port. Simply attach the valve, pierce the refrigerant line and back-seat the needle. Refrigerant flow begins when a charging hose with a built-in depressor is connected and automatically stops when the hose is removed.

The valve core can also be removed to provide unrestricted flow. The piercing needle can then be front-seated whenever the valve core needs to be removed or replaced without losing refrigerant.
